River Kwai Village Trekking (RKV02T) 2 Days 1 Night

1st Day    



06:10-07:00 Pick-up from major hotels in Bangkok.

 

07:30 Depart Bangkok for Kanchanaburi. 



10:00 Arrive at Kanchanaburi, visit:



- World War II Museum

- Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, the cemetery of the allied prisoners of the World War II. 

   

10:30 Continue to visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai. 

 

12:00 Take a train ride along part of the "Death Railway" to Nam-Tok station, the last existing terminal station of the Thailand-Burma railway in Thailand.

   

12:30 Arrive at Nam-Tok station, transfer to River Kwai Village Hotel. 

 

13:30 Check-in at hotel upon arrival. Thai lunch at Jungle View Restaurant.

 

15:00 Kaeng Lava Cave: Take a short long-tailed boat trip upstream the Kwai Noi river. Climb up to the Kaeng Lava Cave for an interesting visit of the fantastic stone formations.

 

16:30 Transfer back to the hotel by boat.

 

19:00 European dinner at Jungle View Restaurant.

Accommodation.

2nd   Day  

07:30 American breakfast.

   

08:30 Hellfire Pass & The Elephant Tour:  Depart the hotel to visit Hellfire Pass Memorial and a cutting mountain for a railway track which was done by hands of the allied prisoners of the World War II.

   

10:00 Continue to the Elephant Camp, by bamboo rafting along a rushing stream of Kwai Noi river.



Arrive the Elephant Camp for an exciting elephant back-riding through a jungle.   Picnic lunch box will be provided.

   

13:45 Depart the Elephant Camp for the hotel.

   

14:00  Check-out.

   

14:30    Depart River Kwai Village Hotel for Bangkok.

   

19:00  Arrive Bangkok. Transfer to hotels.
