1st Day    



06:10-07:00 Pick-up from major hotels in Bangkok.

 

07:30 Depart Bangkok for Kanchanaburi. 



10:00 Arrive at Kanchanaburi, visit:



- World War II Museum

- Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, the cemetery of the allied prisoners of the World War II. 

  

11:00 Continue to visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai.

Transfer to River Kwai Village Hotel.  

  

12:30 Check-in at hotel upon arrival.

 

13:00 Thai lunch at Jungle View Restaurant.

 

14:30   Afternoon at leisure OR join our optional tour.

 

19:00 European dinner at Jungle View Restaurant.

08:00   American breakfast.

   

08:30 Kaeng Lava Cave & Sai Yok Waterfall:



Depart River Kwai Village Hotel by boat for the unforgettable full-day tour in the River Kwai valley. After a 15 minutes trip upstream, make the first stop to visit the famous Kaeng Lava Cave, well known for its fantastic stone formation.

   

10:15 Continue to Sai Yok Waterfall, giving you a first-hand impression of the upcountry lifestyles in the countyside of Kanchanaburi.

   

11:30  Arrive at the waterfall and take a picnic lunch and drinks. The afternoon is at leisure for swimming in the river and the waterfall, walking in the bamboo and teak forests etc.

   

15:00  Leave the Waterfall for the hotel.

   

19:00   European dinner at Jungle View Restaurant.

3rd Day  



08:00 American breakfast.

   

09:30     Death Railway Tour:  Depart the hotel by long-tailed speed boat for down the Kwai Noi River.

   

11:00  Arrive at Lum Sum and take a short walk to the train station. Take a train ride along part of the "Death Railway" for a memorable journey to Nam-Tok station, the last existing terminal station of the Thailand-Burma railway, also passing over the dangerous looking of wooden viaduct built along the mountain-side.

   

12:00  Arrive Nam-Tok station in Tha Sao and transfer back to the hotel.

   

12:30 Thai lunch.

   

14:00 Check-out.

   

14:30 Depart River Kwai Village Hotel for Bangkok.

   

19:00 Arrive Bangkok. Transfer to hotels.
