Day 1 06.00 Pick up from major hotels in Bangkok downtown area.Depart to Kanchanaburi. 09.00 Visit to Thailand–Burma Railway Center an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. Visit Allied War Cemetery, resting-place for more than 6,000 Allied prisoners of war (POWs). Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by allied POWs 12.00 Take a long–tailed boat from pier to get to The Float House River Kwai,passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery.Check–in no arrival.Lunch will be served. 14.45 Take a long–tailed boat upstream to visit to the nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village (Optional tour : Elephant riding through the bamboo forest) 19.00 Dinner,followed by a 45 minutes presentation of Mon Dance and overnight The Float House River Kwai Day 2 07.00 American Breakfast 08.30 Take an exciting boat ride downstream to Resotel Pier and continue to visit to the Half Fire Pass Memorial. 12.00 Lunch.After lunch visit to Herbal Garden and enjoy jungle trekking into the forest. 19.00 Dinner and overnight the Float House River Kwai. Day 3 07.00 American Breakfast 11.30 Check-out and depart for lunch by local restaurant. 13.00 Take a historic ride on Death Railway Train through magnificent scenery,passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs 14.20 Continueby air-conditioned vehicle to Bangkok 18.00 Arrive Bangkok and transfer to hotels. |
