Dusit Zoo covers the area of approximately 118 rais. It is the perfect zoo in the middle of the city. It completely runs the businesses according to the objective in terms of education, conservation and breeding, animal raising areas, and relaxation are for the public.
Dusit Zoo has been opened for more than 65 years. It has more than 1,600 animals of various types of domestic and international wildlife and each year, the average of 2.5 million visitors comes to Dusit Zoo.

Khao Kheow Open Zoo, for over 60 years, has been a cherished resource located in the Chonburi Province and is a reflection of The Zoological Park Organization of Thailand’s dedication towards nature and conservation. The zoo encompasses over 2,000 acres of the Khao Kheow-Khao Chom Puo Wildlife Sanctuary. The zoo grounds are divided into animal habitats (400 acres), public recreational areas (200 acres) and research area (1,400 acres) which is used for the breeding of various endangered species. It is the first zoo in Thailand to receive international recognition and to become a member of WAZA (World Association of Zoos and Aquariums). With its magnificent blend of lush forest landscapes and wonderful collection of over 8,000 animals & birds representing over 300 species, this zoo is able to provide visitors with very unique, educational and natural experiences. The zoo also houses the largest collection of cat species in Thailand.

Phuket Zoo is a private zoo. It is not supported by the government. The zoo opened in 1997. The zoo occupies an area of about 30 rai or 12 acres or 5 hectares. The winding paths shaded by many large fig trees (Ficus species) let you wander around in comfort for hours. Stands selling water, soft drinks, beer and ice cream, etc. are scattered around the grounds. New species of fish, birds and other animals are acquired each year as well as young from our various breeding programs. We exchange animals with other zoos to get rid of excess stock and bring in new blood. Our well-trained staff will do their best to entertain you at the many shows and photo opportunities.
