Koh Samed Hotels

Ko Samet :Located on Rayong province, approximately 220 km or around 3-4 hours drive to southeast of Bangkok. Ko Samet is part of the tah Phe District of the Amphoe Mueang Rayong ( the capital district, or Amphoe Mueang), of Rayong province. Here is where you can have maximum experience in the cost you spend.

Please don't miss southern tip of Samet, you'll find Ao Kiu Na Nok -- a great stretch of largely undisturbed beach -- one of Ko Samet's best nearby. There's some good shade at the centre and north of the beach while the best swimming is towards the southern end

One of the only beaches on Ko Samet's west coast, Ao Phrao (mean alot of coconut)is a scenic bay with a sweeping shallow beach. It's also the most luxurious beach on Ko Samet, with just three top-end resorts. Very nice for romantic material.

Most of the north coast of Ko Samet lacks the stunning beaches of the island's west and east. As a result, Ao Noi Na is the island's quietest shore, and the best place to head if you'd like some seclusion.

Sweeping and well protected Ao Wong Duen is one of the most popular beaches to stay -- and play -- on Ko Samet.Where you can find any staff you want to. Home to some fine mid-range accommodation, the beach is a hotspot of boat traffic, with a near continual stream of ferries, speedboats, jetskis and banana boats plying their trade, so an isolated and quiet beach this is not.

Ko Samet's most popular beach, Haad Sai Kaew (White Sand Beach) is the longest, busiest and was once the most beautiful of Ko Samet's beaches.

Pricey bungalow operations line the beach, along with karaoke bars, restaurants and shops while the beach itself is covered in deck chairs and inner tubes with jet-skis and banana boats whizzing by all day long.

The long and out of the way Ao Wai is very pleasant well-shaded beach that is home to Ko Samet's most eclectic resort, which stretches for the entire length of the beach. For those seeking small crowds and a quiet natural atmosphere, Ao Wai has a lot to offer.
