The Heart Inn Koh Lanta Krabi Hotel Description
This brand new hotel is located in the tourist center of Koh Lanta island, off the coast of Krabi. In addition, the hotel is just walking distance to the beach and the endless water sports of offer. Some sports are also on offer at The Heart Inn Lanta on request. In the evenings you can just as easily walk down to the numerous restaurants as well as the night market. And most importantly with its excellent prices The Heart Inn Lanta Hotel lets you enjoy your stay on the island without burning a hole in your pocket.
The Heart Inn is a brand new guesthouse-style hotel opened by the same owners of the popular Ao Nang Seafront Thai hotel in Ao Nang. It offers mid-range, comfortable accommodation in a very central location (in the "town" of Saladan, within a few minutes of both the ferry pier and the beach).
For those who plan to stay on the island long term and rent a motorbike; or those who prefer to be close by shops and restaurants, The Heart would make a good base. Rates offer excellent value for money and include breakfast. Most importantly there is no "peak season" surcharge.
There are 28 rooms arranged over 3 floors, with twin and double beds. All have the same facilities: air conditioning, hot water shower, fridge with minibar, cable TV and hairdryer. The Lotus rooms are front-facing and benefit from a private balcony. Decor is modern Asian, with wood panelling, tiled floors, and jewel-coloured soft furnishings. Breakfast is served a la carte in the downstairs dining room.
The top end of Kaw Kwang beach is within walking distance so you can also stroll along the beach in the evening, or visit the beach bars if you have no transport. Klong Dao, which is better for swimming, is slightly further away - around 15 - 20 minutes on foot. Note that as this is a "guesthouse-style" hotel, this means there is no garden or swimming pool here.
