Elegant
Stayed in the Grand Pacific Sovereign for four nights after being stranded in Thailand due to Volcanic ash and the troubles in Bangkok.
The hotel was deffinately five star standard. Rooms very spacious with an oversized bathroom complete with seperate bath and shower unit, seperate dressing room and large fully equipt bedroom along with a day bed. Staff went out of their way to make sure everything was ok.
Breakfast was fantastic, something for everyone including food we would eat for an evening meal ie chop suey, rice, noodle dishes etc.
Food prices not too bad, we tried the Italian restaurant and the pizza was excellent.

Luxury hotel at a reasonable price
Fantastic hotel and value for money. Very secured - you need a key card for your room and to go through every bit of the hotel. Gorgeous swimming pool. Beach is just accross the road. Breakfast was good. Location is a bit far from anywhere but the hotel arrange free tuk tuk charter to cha-am main area at night. We've got our own vehicle and the hotel has parking facilities free of charge for the hotel guests so it was handy for us.
