Low Price, Good Service
The Ecotel Hotel is located 15 mins walk away from Pratunam Market, 25 mins walk from Bangkok main shopping area i.e. Erawan, Isetan, MBK etc, The service was good, helpful front desk and concierge, complimentary welcome drinks. The room has free wifi. There are lots of food street stalls in the afternoon along the way to Pratunam Market (not sure about night as we tend to go back by taxi and straight into the our room), with 7 Eleven convenient store nearby.

Excellent hotel. Great location.
We were a bit worried about this hotel as it was listed as a 'budget hotel'. Directly across the road from the Ramada D'Ma so the area is OK. The reception was wonderful. Staff very friendly, no matter what time of day or night. Breakfast was at the little cafe next door which was lovely and extremely popular all day. The room was big enough, we're on holiday we didn't need a huge room. It was very clean and quiet. The bed was a little hard but we were so exhausted each day it was not a problem. Our children were accommodated in a room directly across the hall from us which felt very safe.
