Cramped hotel in a central location
We had a chance to have an overnight stay at First House Bangkok during our Thailand vacation. Surprisingly, the location is strategic to malls and stalls if you would want to shop however, the area around the hotel is bustling and noisy. This is not ideal for travelers wanting peace and quiet.

Stay here if you're not after hotel value
Good location in the shopping area of Pratunam, walking distance to Platinum Mall (via a footbridge), the Pratunam Market, and Pantip Plaza near the Saensaeb canal line (under the bridge adjacent to Big C and MBK) if you're going to Banglamphu area where the Grand Palace, Wat Po are foreign exchange right across the hotel
